Weekly Weigh in Week 3

Well, another week, another pound. This is exactly what happened the last time I was on Jenny. 1-2 pound losses every week, pretty consistently. I guess I just won't get the big initial loss? That's unfortunate but every week, a loss is a loss.

I was having a bit of anxiety late last week that for some reason the diet would stop working. I don't know why, it's stupid but I was having a strange freak out. But, like I said, a pound is a pound. It took me a year to lose 50 pounds, 3 years to gain back 35, so it's slow going, both ways, and that's OK, I'll keep chugging along, do my thing, and hope for a good week on the scale.

What I'm eating this week:

OK, this might be odd, but I love looking at pictures people's food. There's nothing more fascinating than a food haul. Show me the inside of your refrigerator? Yasssss. Anyways, this is what a week's worth of JC food looks like.

I've said it before, but I love not having to think about food and what I'm going to eat for the week. I don't have to worry about portions and since, when left to my own devices, I'll eat the same thing every day for 4 weeks, I get a LOT more variety now.

Workouts
Saturday - 3 mile run
Sunday - Body Flow
Monday - I strained a muscle in my back so I got my nails done instead.
Tuesday - Still owie
Wednesday - Went shopping for choir brunch food
Thursday - 45 min RPM
Friday - 60 min RPM

Upped the cardio this week and added a 4th day. I was pretty pleased with it.

Picture

I started the day with a belt, but when I went to take the picture. Ugh. I don't need a belt to accentuate my waist and and make my hips look bigger. Looking at this outfit, not the most flattering, but it's the one I took and the one you all get. I usually wear a jean jacket with this outfit, I think it needs it.

Cheats
I definitely ate off plan Saturday night. I knew we were going out to dinner so I skipped my afternoon fruit, afternoon fat, dinner and dessert.  Instead I had....

It was delightful

I ate about 1/2 of the tartare, 2 little pieces of bread, about 1/3 to 1/2 the fries and all of the spinach.

There have been multiple times in the past when I've eaten all of the fries and most of the tartare here. Small wins.

Towards the end of the week, I wasn't as hungry as I've been and on both Thursday and Friday I didn't eat my afternoon snack. I usually have my 2nd milk serving and 2nd fruit around 3-4pm and I just wasn't hungry. On both days I went to spin class and didn't have any issues.

So, that was my week. Here's to another week and another loss. Fingers crossed!
